Inaugurating the committee, the Chairman Oshimili South Local Government,Dr.Kelvin Ezenyili,read the teams of reference to include, to reconcile the long lasting dispute between the Royal Fathers of Asaba and Oko Kingdom
He equally told them to determine the stipends due to each Royal Father, taking into consideration factors relating to the geographical seize of the jurisdiction of the kingdom .
Dr.Ezenyili reminded them of old relationship between Asaba and Oko Community, stressing that they have existed for decades and benefited from each other. 
He said there was need for reconciliation in order to restore peace, saying that there was no development in communities were there is no peace.
The Oshimili South Local Government Chairman said he decided to setup the committee because he cannot be said to be their chairman where there is no peace.
He Commended the Committee members for answering his call adding that he had been uncomfortably seeing the two brothers living in such manner, as it will not be a good story to their children.
Responding on behalf of their communities, Ogbueshi Leroy Edozien for Asaba and Chief Uche Ugboma for Oko, agreed that there was need for peace to exist between the two communities.
They commended the Oshimili South Local Government Chairman,Dr.Kelvin Ezenyili for the peace meeting saying that the two communities are one. 
Ogbueshi Edozien and Chief Ugboma saiid in a week time the communities would come out with positive resolution.
A minute silence was observed in respect of the late Asagba of Asaba Obi Chike Edozien.
