Ministry Set To Honor Ossai At Retirement party
The Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education is set to honour its Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Comrade Ernest Ossai, as he prepares to retire from the state civil service after years of dedicated and meritorious service.
According to a statement signed by Mr. R. Alika and Mr. P. Obi on behalf of the Organising Committee, a retirement party in honour of the veteran education administrator has been scheduled for July 3, 2026, at the Comrade Sam Dietake Hall, Bureaucrat House, Asaba.
The event is expected to attract top government officials, education stakeholders, labour leaders, colleagues, friends, family members and well-wishers who will gather to celebrate Ossai’s remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the education sector in the state.
The organising committee described the occasion as a fitting tribute to a distinguished public servant whose dedication, commitment and professionalism have left an indelible mark on the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and the state’s educational system.
The retirement ceremony is expected to feature goodwill messages, tributes, presentation of gifts and other activities aimed at celebrating his career accomplishments and outstanding service to the state.
