Segun Ayebulu, an officer with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), was shot and killed by assailants on the Oke-Ako/Ajowa Road in the Ekiti Local Government Area.
In Ekiti, the NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tolu Afolabi, confirmed the incident on Sunday and stated that further inquiries were being made in order to identify and apprehend those responsible.
