The 16th controller of the Nigerian correctional services CCS.Raymond Mbadiwe Nwagu has resumed duty as the controller of the Delta State command.
While commending the outgoing Controller, CCS Babafemi Oluwarotimi Jaiyeoba as CCS.Nwagu called on the officers and men of the command to be diligent in the discharge of their duties.
The new Controller said with his garnered experience in the job,he promised to ensure an open door policy where all will be happy to do their job with easy.
He attributed his posting to Delta State as God approval, adding that he will try his best to improve on what his predecessors had done in the Delta State Correctional facilities.
The controller Raymond Nwagu who halls from lssele Azagba,in Delta State,urged the officers and men of the correctional services to be obedient to the leadership.
He called for support and cooperation of the officers to better the Delta State correctional services.
While handing over to the new Controller, the outgoing controller, CCS Babafemi Oluwarotimi Jaiyeoba who started with praises to God said it was only God that knows the exchange of responsibility.
CCS. Babafemi Oluwarotimi Jaiyeoba said it was the peaceful atmosphere that characterized the period of his tenure and admonished the officers to extend the level of cooperation given to him to the incoming controller.
He described the incoming controller as an experienced officer with great wealth of experience that will help in the improvement of the command.
The outgoing controller has been posted to the kirikri staff training collage Lagos.
Good will messages flowed freely from wives and officers of the service.
Highlight of the event was the handing over of the flag of the Nigerian correctional service which signifies the official leadership change.
