The State House of Assembly today screened and confirmed for appointment Mr. Akarakeme Ebikeme Orubebe Jr as member of the Governing Board, Warri/ Uvwie and Environs Special Areas Development Agency at floor of the House.
Appearing before the House the nominee Mr Akarakeme Ebikeme Orubebe Jr was introduced to the House by the member representing Burutu 2 constituency Hon. Pillar Ekpotuayerin Ebipadei who is the member representing him at the Assembly.
After scrutinizing his submitted CV and answering relevant and related questions by law markers, he was then asked by the Speaker to take a bow.
The Majority leader Hon Ferguson Onwo then moved for his confirmation seconded by the member representing Isoko North constituency at the Assembly Hon. Jude Ogbini.
It would be recalled that the State governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa had on January 26 sent a letter to the House for the screening and confirmation of appointment of Mr Akarakeme Ebikeme Orubebe Jr as member of the Governing Board Warri Uvwie and Environs development agency.
The Speaker Hon Sheriff Oberevwori then adjourned other House proceedings to Tuesday next week.
