OBOREVWORI MOURNS EX-ASSEMBLY CLERK, COMMISSIONER, DAN OKENYI

The approval for the implementation of the new retirement age and length of service for Teaching profession in the state has been described as a motivational instrument. The Delta State Secretary, NIGERIA Union of Teachers, Comrade,.Dan Basime stated this while reacting to the elongation of retirement age and length of service for primary and secondary school teachers in Delta State public service from the present sixty years of age to sixty five years and thirty five years of service to forty years of service He said it was a big achievement for Teachers in the state saying that it will motivate Teachers to put in more efforts in service dilivery. Comrade Basime expressed gratitude to the state Government for the gesture saying that it was an indication that the present government has a good humman face. The secretary called on Teachers to renew their energy as it was a call for a double efforts in service dilivery. Comrade Basime said the union most ensure that everybody seat up as it will be business as usual.
