Teachers in the state have expressed gratitude to the state Government for the approval of sixty five years of age and forty years of service for Teachers retirement in the state.
The chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT,Comrade Titus Okotie and secretary Comrade Dan Basime who made commendation in an interview with our reporter Gilbert Olie,noted that it was a thing of joy and a big achievement for teachers in the state.
They commended Governor Ifemeni Okowa for considering the plight of teachers saying that the approval was a motivation and encouragement for effective service delivery.
Comrade Okotie and Comrade Basime congratulated the Teachers and commended them for their patients.
They pledged their loyalty and commitment on behalf of the Teachers saying that teachers would put in their best.
The NUT Chairman and Secretary called on Teachers to further dedicate their energy for effective service delivery in order to justify the efforts of the state government.
