LAWRENCE ANINI: END OF NIGERIA'S MOST FEARED ARMED ROBBER

The Commissioner for Science and technology Mrs Anderson Efeviroro has attributed her success as a commissioner to fatherly role Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. Mrs.Anderson who bagged an award of excellence for her contribution to youth development in in technology and eco system, thanked the group for the recognition stressing that the achievement and award was as a result of governor Okowa's support to the ministry of Science and technology. Presenting the award to the Commissioner, the Community Manager Communication technology in Asaba, Mr Aima Atigari said her contribution to technology development has attracted international recognition. He noted that the science and technology commissioner through her office has established a tech eco system that represented different communities and had also supported youth development through the ministry of science and technology. Mr Atigari said through the technology eco space , products were produced to meet international standard and put to test which has place Delta State on the world google map thereby giving the State international recognition While thanking the commissioner for her positive impact at using technology to advance the scope of production and youth development, he appealed to the ministry of science and technology that the doors to explore the technological space should always be made available to whenever they come knocking. Mean while Mrs Anderson Efeviroro also spoke on her achievement as the science and technology commissioner to include the fabrication of lubricant making machine, production of engine oil, production of close circuit Television, ICT for advanced solar, and start up academy for ICT self employed youths. She noted that the world has become a global village and that the the way out of poverty is through technology. Mrs.Anderson thanked governor Ifeanyi Okowa for giving her the opportunity to deliver on the ministries mandate, while also encouraging the incoming administration to continue with Governor Okowa's legacies.
