ASUSS LEADERSHIP DECRIBES ALLEGED MISAPPROPRIATION OF N200 AS FALES

 The leadership of ASUSS,Delta State chapter have described the alleged misappropriation of N200m as false and baseless.

The State Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools,(Asuss),Comrade Kenneth Okoh called on members of the Union to  discountenance the purported news  being speculated by certain online platforms on allegations of financial recklessness and high handedness, against him as the allegations are totally false, unfounded and a   product of the writers imagination. 

This was made clear in a press briefing today by the ASUSS State Chairman, Comrade Okoh, and urged the general public and most importantly teachers to discountenance such as it was the handiwork of detractors bent on tarnishing his  image and his executive.

He admonished journalists to always verify stories from all parties before publication. 

The Chairman said the union has been barely existing as a name before he came in to give it a body with great effort. 

Comrade Okoh disclosed that the State Administrative Council of the Union are fully in the know about how the Union is being run. 

He explained that he doubles as the Assistant National Sec Gen, as the National body called not have entrusted him with such position if he was running foul in the State.

Comrade Okoh said if the Author of the Faceless publication was truthful in his accusations he or she should reveal his identity and source of story.
