A new eight man executive has emerged in the private Sector Pertispants PSP, to pilot the affairs of the Union.
Comrade Samson Osuere emerged as the chairman having been returned unopposed while Comrade Theophilus Ugwu is to serve as the secretary.
The state Waste Management Board Chairman,Mr.Bazim Chinye, represented by the Director of Operations, Waste Management Board at the occasion held in Asaba, the state capital, Mr Mike Esegba,while Congratulating the new executive, charged them to work as a team in order to achieve the best for the Union.
The Chairman commended the past executive for their resilience and achivement even in the face of dump site challenges.
He prayed GOD to guide the Exco and give them more wisdom and strength to carry the Union to greater heights.
The state President Comrade Lucky Adjakuko,called on members of the Union to give the new executive their full support to bring brighter light to the Union adding that more is expected from them.
Comrade Adjakuko commended the state government for given the Union the opportunity to serve the state and appealed to the state government to try and arrest the situation of the dump site challenges to avoid further occurrence.
The President also appealed to the state government to find ways of looking into the challenges facing the PSPs, especially vehicles.
The new Asaba Branch President, Comrade Samson Osuere, expressed gratitude to members for giving him the more privilege and opportunities to serve the Union.
He promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him and appealed to members to continue their unflinching support to the Union.
