The resolutions were reached at the Forum’s end-of-year meeting held on Monday, December 15, 2025, which brought together media practitioners of Ndokwa extraction to deliberate on issues of public interest and regional development.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Forum emphasized the need for Ndokwa leaders and stakeholders to rise above political and partisan considerations and speak with one voice on matters affecting the collective interest of the Ndokwa Nation.
According to the Forum, unity of purpose remains fundamental to achieving sustainable development, equity, and inclusion for the people.
On the Federal University of Health and Medical Sciences, Kwale, the Forum expressed concern over the inadequacy of facilities required for the institution’s effective take-off.
It therefore called on the Delta State Government, Ndokwa local government councils, and other relevant stakeholders to demonstrate proactive leadership by urgently providing the necessary infrastructure and creating an enabling environment to support the smooth commencement and long-term sustainability of the university.
The Forum also underscored the importance of comprehensive electrification of Ndokwa land, describing reliable power supply as a key driver of socio-economic growth and enhanced security.
In addition, it acknowledged ongoing and proposed road projects and urged sustained government commitment to the development, completion, and maintenance of critical road networks. These include the ongoing Ndemili–Utagbe-Uno Road, as well as the Ogume–Abbi, Aboh–Akarai, and Amai–Aragba roads.
The Forum reaffirmed its commitment to responsible journalism, constructive engagement, and sustained advocacy, pledging to continue using the media as a platform for public enlightenment, accountability, and the promotion of good governance in the overall interest of Ndokwa people.
The communiqué was signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Barth Ozah, and the Secretary, Mr. Odili Ogochukwu.
