*HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER URGES STAFF TO RENEW COMMITMENT IN THE NEW YEAR*
The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Edo State, has extended warm New Year greetings to staff of the Ministry, commending them for their dedication and service in the past year.
In the message, the Commissioner expressed appreciation for the collective efforts of management and staff in advancing the Ministry’s mandate of promoting the welfare, protection, and empowerment of women, children, and vulnerable persons across the state. She noted that despite challenges encountered during the year, the Ministry recorded notable achievements through teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to duty.
The Commissioner called on staff to approach the New Year with renewed energy, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility, emphasizing that the government of Edo State remains committed to policies and programmes that enhance social development and inclusive governance.
She further encouraged staff to uphold the core values of integrity, compassion, and accountability in service delivery, stressing that the Ministry plays a critical role in improving the quality of life of citizens, particularly the most vulnerable.
While wishing all staff a prosperous and fulfilling New Year, the Honourable Commissioner urged them to continue working collaboratively to achieve the Ministry’s goals and contribute meaningfully to the overall development agenda of Edo State.
