As the call for credible and progressive representation grows louder across Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, one name continues to stand out — Hon. High Chief Ezenyili Kelvin Obi PhD, popularly known as EKO. A man of proven capacity, vision, and youthful energy, EKO represents the hope of a new generation determined to move the constituency forward.
To those who argue that he is “too small to rule,” history offers a strong rebuttal. Many of the great leaders we celebrate today began their leadership journeys at a relatively young age. Age has never been the true measure of leadership — capacity, vision, and performance are what truly matter. It is worth noting that even the man who represented this constituency for three terms began his first tenure at the age of 42. Therefore, the argument against EKO based on age holds no substance.
EKO is not just young; he is experienced, tested, and trusted. As the Executive Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Area, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and administrative competence. His achievements in office speak volumes, earning him the rare distinction of being the only chairman in the history of Oshimili South to secure a second term in office. Even in his current tenure, he continues to deliver impactful projects and policies that directly benefit the people.
More importantly, EKO has redefined youth inclusion in governance. He has empowered young people, inspired participation, and restored confidence in leadership among the youths of Aniocha/Oshimili. Today, the youths are more active, more engaged, and more hopeful — largely because of his influence and commitment.
EKO is the leader the constituency has been waiting for — one who understands the challenges of the people and possesses the drive to address them. His track record has earned him the trust of the youths and the admiration of many across the region.
The message is clear: the future is now. The time for dynamic, result-driven leadership is here.
