In a move to equip Nigerian's youths with practical skills and reduces employment, and maintain entrepreneurship among citizens for national development in the country. The federal government through the Ministry of Education has opened Portal for interested applicants into second cohort of its *Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Programme* .
The programme offers 6-month and 1-year hands-on training in accredited centres across 36 states of the country and the Federal Capital Teritary, Abuja. Each participants are entitled to be receiving monthly stipend of ₦22,500.00. At the end of the programme, nationally recognised certification will be Issued to the participants upon their attendance strictly.
The Training will covered a recognized subjects required for high-demand sectors such as ICT, construction, agriculture, automotive technology, creative media, fashion, cosmetology, tourism, catering, and leather works.
This programme, is also collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism to expand opportunities in creative and cultural industries.
To ensure accountability, attendance will be monitored using biometric systems, and stipends will be tied to compliance. Applicants must provide their NIN and BVN during registration via the official portal.
