ANIAGWU HIGHLIGHTS OBOREVWORI’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES IN ISOKO, SEEKS SUPPORT FOR APC AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS.
The Chairman of the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) Media Campaign Council, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has highlighted the significant educational, infrastructural, social and economic developments recorded in Isoko Nation under the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Aniagwu identified the adequate funding of the College of Health Technology, infrastructural improvements at the Delta State University, road construction, electricity interventions, medical outreaches and renovation of schools as some of the notable achievements of the Oborevwori-led administration in Isoko land.
He made this known while briefing journalists ahead of the official flag-off of the Delta State APC campaign for the 2027 general elections, scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 5, 2026, in Oleh, Isoko Nation.
The campaign council chairman attributed the achievements recorded by the state government partly to the economic reforms and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing optimism that the Federal Government's ongoing reforms were gradually creating better economic prospects for the country.
According to Aniagwu, although Nigerians are currently facing economic difficulties, the challenges should not overshadow the positive prospects and opportunities emerging from the reforms.
He expressed confidence that Governor Oborevwori's MORE Agenda would continue to drive development, expand opportunities and improve the living conditions of residents across Delta State.
"All that was not well in the state and Nigeria in general are beginning to give way as a result of Tinubu's economic reforms," he said.
Aniagwu called on the people of Isoko Nation and Deltans in general to sustain their support for the APC, urging them to vote for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections.
He expressed confidence that the APC would secure overwhelming support in Isoko Nation, citing the developmental projects and interventions delivered by the Oborevwori administration.
"I am very confident of APC getting overwhelming votes from the Isoko Nation as a result of the massive support and development the good people enjoyed," he stated.
The APC Media Campaign Council chairman also appealed to media organisations across the state to partner with the party by providing adequate publicity and extensive coverage of its campaign activities.
He assured journalists and other stakeholders that appropriate security arrangements had been put in place to ensure a peaceful and successful campaign exercise.
Aniagwu was accompanied at the briefing by the Vice Chairman of the Media Campaign Council, Mr Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq.; the Secretary, Hon. Dr Tonye Timi; and a member of the council, Mr Jackson Ekwugum.
The Delta State APC campaign is expected to commence with its official flag-off ceremony in Oleh, Isoko Nation, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, marking the beginning of the party's campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
