There was a sign of joy as the Chairman of Oshimili South LGA Obi Kelvin Ezenyili received Doctorate Degree at the Igbinedion University, Okada,Edo State at the 20th Convocation Lecture 2 .
The Chairman Obi Ezenyili who graduated with a Doctorate Degree in Political Science at convocation lecture,was among 40 Post graduates with Doctors of Philosophy and 82 with masters Degrees in various discipline.
The vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, represented by the Minister of Transport, Jaji Sambo commended the school for quality education and called on the graduands to be good ambassadors of the school and Nigeria anywhere around the world.
The vice-president said education play vital role in the development of any nation saying that Igbinedion University is one of the Universities to record with in the country.
He said Federal Government put high priority in education and advised private own Universities to live up to expectations.
The Chancellor of the school, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion and the Deputy, Chief Lucky Igbinedion commended the vice Chancellor of the University and his team for their efforts and congratulated the students for the success.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, thanked the chairman and vive chairman of the school for the achievements of the school since inception and congratulated the students.
The Chairman of Oshimili South LGA, Obi Kelvin Ezenyili, who expressed gratitude to God for giving him the zeal and opportunity to acquire a Doctorate Certificate said it was by the grace of God for combining the work as chairman of local Government and going to school.
The chairman advised youths to always concentrate on what they would become in life stressing that positive dreams leads to positive achievement.
He also advised parents to always have good plans for their children because solid foundation matters in life.
Two persons including Pastor Chris Oyakilome of Christ Embassy were awarded Honorary doctorate degree at the event.
Highlights were the presentation of certificates and the decorations of Honourary awards.
