Religious leaders and adherents of different faith have been charged to redouble prayers for a hitch free,credible and transparent electoral process in the country.
Delta State Governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP Senator Ifeanyi Okowa gave the charge when he played host to the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Pastor Williams Kumuyi,his wife Pastor Esther and other Pastors of the church at Government House Asaba.
Governor Okowa who said Delta State was lucky to host the global crusade in Asaba affirmed that the programme will affect Deltans spiritually and physically.
He commended Pastor Kumuyi for championing holiness in his sermons and urged him not to relent in praying for the nation and advertising Christ to all parts of the globe.
The governor said despite myriads of challenges inhibiting the nation's growth,fervent prayers of genuine men of God could turn things around for the better.
Earlier,the General Superintendent Pastor Williams Kumuyi said he was in Government House Asaba to intimate the Governor of a global crusade billed to hold in Asaba from the 26th to the 31st of January.
Pastor Kumuyi said the global crusade since inception has touched lives and nation's positively and invited the Governor and Deltans to the programme tagged Unforgettable Encounter.
He disclosed that the programme will be transmitted to over 150 countries of the world stating that God's power would be felt throughout the programme.
