The state Governor Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has been admonished to apply equity and professionalism as a yildstic for the constitution of the next executive council.
The Iyase of Asaba Obi Patrick Onyeobi,Obi Odiaka and Comrade Alana OPUTE-OTUTU, who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Asaba said the only way forward was to appoint credible and serious minded people with regards to equity.
The respondents urged the Governor to apply wisdom, saying that he should not concentrate on only political class if he must achieve the desired goals.
Obi Onyeobi,Obi Odiaka and Comrade Alana also called on the Federal and state government to dredge the the River Niger for possible transportation, Tourism attractions and flood control.
They said in developed countries opportunity such as River Niger are always been utilised for maximum economic growth.
The respondents said dredging of River Niger would ease off the pressures on roads and reduce accident to reasonable margin.
