Deltans have been called upon to keep at bay anything capable of jeopardizing the peace and development being witnessed in all parts of the State.
The Commissioner for Special Projects Barrister Funyei Manager made the call in Asaba while speaking with newsmen at the thanksgiving service held to commemorate the 32nd Anniversary of the state's creation.
Barrister Manager said amidst the inter ethnic crisis and other challenges that confronted the State upon creation,the various administrations were able to pull through and gave assurance that with unity and proper implementation of policies and programmes,the state will get to greater height.
He said the celebration was necessary following the development recorded in all sectors affirming that the State will witness more infrastructural and human capital development in the present administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
On the vision of his office,he said more special projects will be vigorously pursued to meet the yearning of Deltans in both rural and urban communities.
He said the inclusion of more youths in governance would bring a new dawn to politics in the State and urged residents of the State to rally round the present administration to achieve set goals.
