In a bid to support Deltans in the wake of the current economic hardship, Commissioner Representing the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Sunny Ofe, has donated some food items to people of Aigborodo community, in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Presenting the items which includes bags of rice, Garri, Noodles, Charcoal Stoves, amongst others, Hon Sunny Ofe said there was no doubt it was a trying times for the nation, which spord him to in his little way support the people of Aibigborodo community with the food items.
The DESOPADEC Commissioner thanked the people of Abigborodo for standing firm with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s led administration, and enjoined them to keep supporting the state governor on his “MORE AGENDER” in ensuring more developmental projects across the state.
While appreciating former Governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, who is from Aibigborodo, for his effort in building a great state, Hon Sunny Ofe urged them to keep embracing peace already set by their leader in Warri North Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and assured them of more dividends of democracy.
Responding, The Olaraja of Abigborodo thanked the DESOPADEC Commissioner, Hon Sunny Ofe for remembering his community at such a critical time, praying God to bless him and his family.
The Olaraja then prayed for the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, DESOPADEC Board, the DESOPADEC Commissioner Representing Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality, Hon Sunny Ofe, and Aibigborodo community.
