The Delta State chairman of the National Union of Road Transport workers chief comrade Francis ARHIYOR has affirmed his avowed promise to project and protect the peace and unity prevalent in the Union across the State .
The Delta State chairman of the NURTW , made the pledge in his office in Asaba while speaking with Journalists shortly after his meeting with members of the Union.
He Stated that peace and Unity are his priority in the Union pointing out that the Union cannot achieve anything in absense of peace.
Comrade Arhiyor said that minor Skirmishes and internal squabbles are bound to take place in some branches but it was his duty to settle such mis_ understanding amicably calling them together and nip the issue in the bud.
While appreciating Journalists for publishing the activities of the Union positively, chief Arhiyor advised all members of the Union to perform their duties in according with the constitution of the Union in order to achieve set goals
