‎NOA Restores Government Presence to  Communities Disconnected From Civic Engagements

‎

‎The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has said it has restored government presence to many communities long disconnected from civic enlightenment.

‎

‎The Agency explained that through its quarterly nationwide campaigns, it has reached areas that had not experienced government sensitization in over Fifty years, spreading awareness of national programmes and policies to the grassroots.

‎

‎The Director, Civic, Values and Democracy Education at NOA Headquarters, Dr. Olukemi Afolayan, disclosed this while speaking on Burning Issue, a magazine programme anchored by Seun Owoseni on Ilaji 91.9 FM, Ibadan.

‎

‎She said the renewed visibility of the Agency has been reinforced by its expanding digital footprint and adoption of innovative communication tools that have improved citizen engagement across the country.

‎

‎Dr. Afolayan described the last two years of the Agency’s Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu as a period of transformative impact, noting that NOA has been repositioned for greater relevance in national development.

‎

‎Afolayan then acknowledged the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who she said recognises the strategic importance of NOA in driving national rebirth and value reorientation.
