As part of the Sensitization Seminar on Drug Abuse and Prostitution organized by The Truth Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Hon. Barr. Bridget Anyafulu, the Honourable Member representing Oshimili South Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, delivered a powerful message to students of West-end Mixed Secondary School, on Wednesday, 15th October 2025.Hon. Anyafulu who passionately spoke about the dangers of prostitution and drug abuse, warned students to stay away from drugs.

Quoting the Bible from Proverbs 23:27–28, she emphasized that “a prostitute is a dangerous trap; a promiscuous woman is as dangerous as falling into a narrow well,” reminding the students that moral discipline and self-respect are key to achieving success and living a fulfilled life.
Hon. Anyafulu encouraged the young people to “say no to drug abuse and prostitution”, stressing that temporary pleasure or peer pressure should never dictate their choices.
She urged them to focus on their education, cultivate integrity, and make positive decisions that would make their families and communities proud.
She commended the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)–The Truth Chapel for organizing the sensitization program, noting that such initiatives play a crucial role in guiding young minds away from societal vices.
