Speaking on the issue, Ogbueshi Nwosa Onwuegbuzia stressed that corruption has remained a major obstacle to national development and effective governance, noting that it has weakened institutions and contributed significantly to insecurity across the country.
He emphasized the urgent need to restructure Nigeria in order to ensure inclusiveness and fairness in governance, adding that such restructuring would allow all segments of the nation to be adequately represented and carried along in the scheme of things.
According to him, a restructured Nigeria would promote equity, strengthen unity, and enhance collective responsibility in addressing the country’s numerous challenges, particularly insecurity.
Meanwhile, Comrade Dumebi Eluaka commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for what he described as steady and people-oriented development across the state. He said the pace of development witnessed in various sectors was encouraging and reflective of the governor’s commitment to improving the welfare of Deltans.
Comrade Eluaka urged residents of the state to continue to support the governor’s efforts, noting that sustained cooperation and unity among the people would further accelerate development and consolidate the gains recorded so far.
He expressed optimism that with continued support from the citizens, Delta State would witness even greater progress in the years ahead.
