The Commissioner representing the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality Son the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Sunny Togharanrose Ofe, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Hon. Ofe described the emergence of Chief Arenyeka as a welcome development for the party, noting that his leadership would further strengthen the structure of the APC across the state.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the party congress, saying it reflected the unity and maturity among members of the party in Delta State.
According to him, the smooth and orderly process that produced the new leadership was a clear indication that the party was ready to reposition itself for greater political success in the state.
Hon. Ofe also noted that the emergence of credible and experienced party faithful as members of the State Executive Committee was a blessing to the party, expressing optimism that the new leadership would work collectively to advance the goals and aspirations of the APC.
He urged Chief Arenyeka and other members of the State Working Committee to provide inclusive and purposeful leadership that would unite party members and strengthen the party ahead of future political engagements.
The DESOPADEC Commissioner further assured the new chairman of his support and cooperation, stressing that with commitment, unity, and strategic planning, the APC in Delta State would continue to grow stronger and remain a formidable political force.
Hon. Ofe prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for Chief Arenyeka as he assumes the responsibility of leading the party in Delta State.
