TINUBU REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL UNITY AS NOA DG PRESENTS 2026 PLANS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting national unity, shared values, and social cohesion, as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, during a high-level meeting with the leadership of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Abuja.
The Director General of NOA, Lanre Issa-Onilu, briefed the President on the agency’s progress and ongoing interventions since his appointment in October 2023, highlighting efforts aimed at advancing value reorientation and strengthening public engagement across the country.
During the engagement, the President’s leadership and policy direction were credited as key drivers behind the agency’s recent achievements, with officials noting that sustained government support has enabled NOA to reposition its programmes and expand its nationwide outreach.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the NOA boss to present proposed programmes and projects for the 2026 operational year, focusing on deepening citizen participation, strengthening the National Values Charter, and scaling up sensitization campaigns. He sought presidential approval and guidance to ensure alignment with national priorities and effective implementation.
The interaction underscores the administration’s focus on national orientation as a strategic tool for governance, reinforcing accountability and positioning the NOA to deliver measurable impact in fostering unity and civic responsibility across Nigeria.
