Designers like Veekee James, Abbas Woman, and many others, continue to pushes boundaries and show the world of African fashion is luxury, art and culture combined.

Many people abroad now order from dresses and custom outfits from Nigerian's designers because they have higher level of creativity, elegance, and originality comes out of Africa. Our fabrics, our styling, and our ability to tell stories through fashion continue to place us on the global map. The AMVCA has become proof that Nigerians and Africans are not just participating in global culture, we are influencing it.
Beyond the glamour and red carpet moments, the AMVCA also celebrates the brilliant minds behind these productions - the writers, producers, directors, songwriters and other crew members whose creativity and storytelling continue to shape African cinema without their vision, dedication, and ability to tell authentic African stories, movies like: "To Kill a Monkey, Lisabi," My Father's Shadow and many other incredible productions would not have achieved the recognition they deserve. These creatives are a huge part of this movement, proving African stories are worthy of global attention and applause.
