Children have been described as a heritage from God and a source of joy to humanity during a special programme organised by the Embassy of Faith Miracle Ministry, Aka, Arena of Solutions, led by Pastor Samson Osuere on May 25.
The event, which took place at the church premises located at Ogbezoma Quarters, Okpanam, Asaba, Delta State, attracted children, parents, friends, and well-wishers from different areas.
Delivering a message at the programme, guest minister Pastor Osawaru Adeniyi of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) said children are an inheritance from God and that no one can take away such divine responsibility from parents.
According to him, children are born to bring solutions and joy to society. He urged them to be serious in life, embrace truthfulness, and maintain good behaviour at all times.
Pastor Adeniyi also advised parents to train their children in the way of the Lord so they would enjoy God’s blessings as they grow.
He further called on parents to discipline their children properly to enable them grow with wisdom, understanding, and good morals.
The cleric equally admonished children to always obey their parents in order to live better and fulfilled lives.
Speaking during the programme, the host pastor, Samson Osuere, offered special prayers for church members and encouraged them to remain obedient to God’s instructions and steadfast in the things of God.
Highlights of the event included dance performances, choir ministrations, and drama presentations.
