EGBUDU AKAH COMMUNITY HAVE BEEN ADMONISHED TO EMBRACE PEACE AND WORK AS ONE FAMILY IN ORDER TO ATTRACT DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMES OF THE STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

The people of Egbudu -Akah community have been urged to embrace peace and work as one family in order to attract the developmental programes of the state and local governments. The chairman of the Aniocha South Local Government, Pastor Jude Chukwunwike,stated this while playing host to Egbudu -Akah community in his office at Ogwashi-Uku. He said he would ensure that every community in Aniocha South had equal share of Government presence in the locality. The Chairman promised that the road problems facing Egbudu -Akah community and other communities around the axis would be looked into. Pastor Chukwunwike encouraged the people to always draw the council's attention to their challenges or yearnings The leader of the Egbudu -Akah deligation, Chief Anthony Egbune and the Chairman Egbudu -Akah Development Union, Home branch, Mr.Lawrence Okwuwe,expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the rehabilitation of the Egbudu -Akah Health center adding that it was a big relief to the community. The people promised to work with the Local Government towards ensuring peace and growth in Egbudu -Akah community. A former Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Information, Chief Paul Osahon, who was part of the Egbudu -Akah deligation said the visit became necessary as the community had suffered much marginalization and neeed assistance from all aims of Government. He said Egbudu -Akah community were peace loving and ready to welcome investors.
