DELTA STATE NEW NUT BOSS RESUMES DUTY CALLS ON TEACHERS TO EXERCISE DISCIPLINE,HARD WORK AND COMMITMENT

Youths in the State have been charged to always put the interest of the state first in any of their endeavor. The Speaker of the State Assembly Rt.Honourable Emomotimi Guwor gave the charge when he played host to a delegation of the Delta State Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum who where in his office on a courtesy visit Honorable Guwor described youths as pillars of any nation saying that empowering or engaging them meaningful would aid any government in driving the economy forward. He said their role in development can not be over emphasized as they act as a driving force in terms of accomplishing development projects. Lauding the past administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for taking cognizance of the fact that youths should be meaningfully engaged and trained throw the State's skil acquisition centers, Hon Guwor said the present administration intends to build on it. He said Governor Oberevwori has promised to carry youths along in the scheme of things promising that the House would support the move. Thanking them for the visit, the Speaker encouraged them to see themselves as partners in progress The spokesman for the forum Mr Ovie Emakpor told the speaker that youths in the state were solidly behind the governor and leadership of the 8th Assembly saying Honorable Guwors emergence as Speaker of the vibrant state Assembly was a clear testament that through hard work and dedication a youth can attain any height.
