The Special Adviser to the Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Chief Edwin Uzor,has expressed his determination to usher in peace in the various communities in the State in accordance with the State Governor's more Agenda.
The Special Adviser pointed out that with the discipline and maturity being exibibited by verious communities over land disputes will encourage the State Government to do more for such communities in terms development and citing infrastructure in such areas.
Chief Uzor said that conflict resolution was sensitive and challenging as It demands a lot of strategies and tactics to come to compromise.
According to him conflict resolution has no place of doing favour for any Community involved in land dispute because documents have to be tendered for guidelines and decisions taking.
Chief Uzor said such balanced and objective decisions are taken to avert available conflict and wanton killings
He therefore advised Deltans to always consult with his office whenever issues of land dispute emanates in any Community across the State in order to alllow peace to reign because no Community can develop in atmosphere of ranchour and acrimony.
