New Force Movement Celebrates DESOPADEC MD/CEO, Chief Festus Ochonogor on His Birthday
The New Force Movement, led by its Chairman, Comrade Kingsley Iweka Odiaka, has felicitated with the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Festus Ochonogor, on the occasion of his birthday.
The group, in a show of solidarity and goodwill, visited Chief Ochonogor’s residence in Asaba as early as 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
They came bearing gifts, including branded T-shirts, a cake, and assorted drinks, to mark the special day.
A visibly surprised Chief Ochonogor expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the gesture, describing the visit as overwhelming and unexpected.
He thanked the New Force Movement for their support and pledged to continue identifying with the group.
In his remarks, he urged the members to remain steadfast in supporting the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, emphasizing that governance cannot succeed without the backing of the people.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Comrade Kingsley Iweka Odiaka said the visit was a mark of respect for Chief Ochonogor’s credibility and consistent character over the years.
He lauded Governor Oborevwori for appointing a man of integrity and vision to lead DESOPADEC.
Comrade Iweka also thanked the management team of Desopadec under the watch of Hon chief John Nani (Chairman Desopadec)and Chief Festus Ochonogor (MD/CE0) for their cooperation and developmental strides in Desopadec.
Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer of the group, Comrade Lucky Ulueme, said Chief Ochonogor's exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to doing the right thing were the key reasons for the celebration. He congratulated him and prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and divine blessings.
