My fellow youths of Asaba,
The recent happenings in Koka, Post Primary and Midwifery are things of despair and it was disheartening to see a quiet city like Asaba faced such turmoil.
The protest that shook our city were born out of frustration, fueled by a sense of injustice, and driven by a desire for change.
And while the events of those dark days may have left scars upon our community, they have also ignited a fire within us—a fire that burns with the passion and determination to forge a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.
In the aftermath of the chaos, it was easy to succumb to feelings of disillusionment and hopelessness. But I urge you, my fellow youth, to resist the temptation to despair, for within each of us lies the power to rise above our circumstances and create the change we wish to see in our world.
Let us not dwell on the destruction that has been wrought, but instead let us focus our energies on the task of rebuilding our city—both physically and spiritually. Let us come together as one community, united in our resolve to heal the wounds of the past and build a future filled with hope, opportunity, and prosperity.
My fellow youth, the road ahead will not be easy, but it is a journey that we must undertake together, hand in hand, with courage, conviction, and unwavering resolve. Let us not be defined by the events of the past, but rather let us rise above them, embodying the spirit of resilience and hope that has always been the hallmark of our city.
Together, we can overcome any obstacle, defy any odds, and build a future that is worthy of the dreams and aspirations of every citizen of Asaba. So let us stand tall, my brothers and sisters, and let us march forward into the dawning light of a new day—a day filled with promise, possibility, and the boundless potential of our collective strength.
