It was a celebration of achievements and good will as the Oshimili South Local Government Chairman, Dr. Kelvin Ezenyili backs out of ffice.
The staff of the Local Government, friends and well-wishers gathered at the Oshimili South Local Government Head Quarters, Asaba to wish the Chairman far well with dances and congratulations.
The out gone Chairman who could not hid his feelings expressed gratitude to the Union leadership and staff for the honour and good relationship he enjoyed throughout his tenor.
Dr. Ezenyili said he did not envisage that he was going to have such peaceful coexistence with workers.
The Chairman said he enjoyed having good relationship with in and outside the workforce in the Local Government.
He said when he was taking over the leadership, he promised having open door policy, saying that it gave him the opportunity to relate well with everyone.
Some of the Union leaders and heads of departments, including Mr. Eugene Oshilim,a HOD Environmental Health Officers,Comrade Chamberlain Aniche, the elected NULGE Chairman and the Chairman Bus Drivers Union, Sylvester Ngugu,described the out gone Chairman, Dr. Kelvin Ezenyili as a man with golden mind.
They said he demonstrated free mindedness and love for everyone that came in contact with him as he tried to carry everybody along in the scheme of things.
The leadership of the Union and workers prayed GOD to bring chairman back for the second term.
There was dances, package of gifts and entertainment by Youth Corps members serving in the Local Government.
