The Delta state vice chairman of the pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria pastor Anene Okafor, has described the face off between the Nigeria labour congress(NLC), trade Union congress (TUC) and the federal government as justifiable.

Pastor Okafor made the assertion in Asaba while commenting on the ongoing strike action declared by the labour Unions across the country.

According to the clergy workers all over Nigeria deserve to be pampered by the federal government in terms of wages and remuneration as the prices of goods and services have gone very high leading to inflation.

Pastor Okafor started that those in government in high position in government whether politicians or civil servants are supposed to know that the entire masses or people are suffering and dying.

He called on the federal government to expedite action by setting up a price control board to check astronomical prices of food stuffs such as Garri, Beans, Rice and Yam even House rent  in order to bring succour to the door step of the common man.

Pastor Okafor also charged the federal government to bring down the price of electricity tariff and the price of petrol and gas so as to make the poor masses have economic social relief.

Speaking on the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori one year in Office, pastor Okafor said the Governor has tried.

He pointed out that Governor Oborevwori has no sentiment in his administration saying that the Governor was prepared to develop Delta state at the appointed time.
