COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL VIGILANTES TO GET RESULTS IN CRIME FIGHTING -ASABA YOUTHS PRESIDENT

 The need for collaboration between the law enforcement agencies and vigilantes has been suggested in reducing the crime rate in Asaba the state Capital. 

The Asaba Youth president Ogbueshi Okediachi Obodo who made the suggestion said government must collaborate effectively with all relevant security agencies to ensure swift and decisive responses to incidents. 

Ogbueshi Obodo stated that it includes sharing intelligence, coordinating patrols, and jointly developing strategies to combat crime.

He said,investing in community policing should be encouraged while Empowering and equipping local communities with the tools and resources to support security efforts is crucial. 

The Youth president said,building community trust, fostering citizen participation in security initiatives, and establishing neighborhood watch programs should be included in the plan.

Ogbueshi Obodo noted that the people in Asaba and  Delta State deserve their safety and security. 

He said the time for action is now as Citizens should not have to live in constant fear of violence and abduction. 

The Youth president stated that there was need to create an environment where people feel secured in their homes and communities. 

He called on the state government to rise to the occasion, demonstrating that the safety of its citizens is the paramount responsibility of its leadership.

Ogbueshi Obodo calls for unity in the fight against the crisis to ensure that Delta State Capital City is once again a safe place for all its residents as the future of the communities depends on collective efforts.

He lamented that the frequency and brutality of the kidnappings have reached unprecedented levels, instilling fear and hopelessness in the hearts of the people.
