SUBEB CHAIRMAN COMMENDS Gov. OBOREVWORI, ADMONISHES SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IN ASABA.
Communities, Stakeholders in the Education Sector and Local Education Authorities (L.E.A.S) in Delta State have been advised to Protect the infrastructures in the Primary Schools in their, Various Communities in order to justify the Delta State Government huge investment in the Education Sector.
The State Chairman of the Delta State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Honourable Samuel Mariere gave the advice in Asaba when he Paid a Courtesy Visit to the regent of Asaba Lewis Chike Edozien at the Palace of the Late Asagba of Asaba professor Obi Chike Edozien.
Hon. Mariere at the Palace Commended the Untiring efforts of the State Governor, Francis Sheriff Oborevwori in Providing all the necessary infrastructure for teaching and learning in the Primary Schools across the State.
Hon. Mariere appealed to the royal Fathers, Community youths and Stakeholders in the Education Sector to Co-Operate with the authorities of SUBEB to ensure the protection of infrastructure in the Primary Schools in their areas.
The SUBEB Chairman,Hon. Samuel Mariere also visited the Office of the Oshimili south local Education Authority L.E A. Where he admonished the Secretary Mrs Appolonia Alana Opute Otutu to prevail on all primary school teachers in the area to Perform their duties according to Laid down rules and regulations spelt out by the State Government.
The Secretary OSHIMILI SOUTH Local Government Education Authority,Mrs.Appoolonia Alana Opute Otutu, expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the visit saying that it will help to encourage the teachers to improve in their job.
The Secretary in company of the HPM,Mr.Isioma Odiachi and Accountant Mrs.Bridgiet Onyeka Adaobi said they will continue to support the Board in it's efforts to improve in the services of primary education in the state.
The SUBEB Chairman has Visited Seventeen Local government Areas in Delta State.
