Deltans have been charged to be careful with the way they handle fire especially as the harmattan and dry season is approaching.

Service,Mr.Eugene Oziwere gave the charge in his office in Asaba while speaking with Journalists, saying that it was the mistake of man that leads to fire outbreak.
He said there was need to apply caution and protective measures, especially guiding the children to avoid lost of lives and properties.
Mr.Eziwere revealed that fire Service had done well in quick response to emergency calls in trying to save lives.
The State Director fire Service, said fighting fire is everybody's Business, saying that prevention is better than action.
He said the State Government have been trying in updating equipments saying that the only thing needed to look into was man power.
The State Director commended his men for their abilities and professionalism, and adviced them to put in their best,adding that it was a profession to be proud of, as it was to save lives.
