The Thanksgiving remembrance which took place at the St Patrick,s Catholic church, Cable Point, Asaba was attended by family, friends and well-wishers.
ln his homily , Reverend Father Alex Ouattara, admonished Christians to live lives worthy of emulation as well as imbibing the spirit of forgiveness no matter the level of betrayal or provocation they encountered from people.
He said Mrs.Victoria Rapu had lived her life and with agreement with God,she had gone to rest and prayed God to give her soul rest in peace.
Rev.Ouattara urged believers to always listing to the word of God and always appreciate God for peaceful and good health in order to receive more blessings.
He wished people who are traveling for the Christmas season safe journey and advised them to be conscious of their movement.
In an interview, the husband to the late Victoria,Ogbueshi, Humfrey Rapu, expressed gratitude to God blessings,saying that no one can question God and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
He said it was not easy to lost a loved one, adding that by the grace of God the family is in peace.
The first daughter, Mrs.Vera Ilechie,gave glory to God for peaceful remembrance Thanksgiving and expressed gratitude to friends and well-wishers who attended the ceremony.
Mrs.Ilechie remembered her mother for always praying for her children's success and prayed God to give her mother resting place and prayed God to give her mother eternal rest in the Lord,s bosom .
