TRANSPORT MINISTRY TO REVALIDATE AND PROFILE COMMERCIAL MOTORCYCLE AND TRICYCLE OPERATORS ACROSS THE STATE.

In-order for the Ministry of Transport to have a symbiotic Operations with Commercial Motorcycles(Okada) and Tricycles (Keke)Riders in 2025,the Ministry has perfected plans to Revalidate and Profile all Operators in year 2025.
A statement from the Office of the Hon Commissioner for Transport Mr Onoriode Agofure indicates that as from Thursday 2nd January 2025,the Revalidation and Profiling of all Riders through the Purchase of Emblems,Aprons,Stickers and the issuance of Riders Identification Cards,in line with the Law that established the usage of Motorcycle/Tricycle for Commercial purposes as amended in 2008, will commence.
The Statement further added that Operators are to patronize the nearest Branch/Unit of the State Government recognized Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Association (COMTOA) Delta State for a seamless exercise.
Accordingly,all Operators are advised to key into the Revalidation/Profiling process,in order for Government to have an updated Data Base and relevant information about Operators across the State.
