The Commercial motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Association (COMTOA) in Delta State is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and security of its members and passengers.
Comrade Uchenna Okafor, the Deputy Taskforce Director, has urged members and passengers to be security conscious, especially in the face of rising insecurities.
To achieve this, Okafor advised members to always identify with a park and register as a member for easy identification. This move is aimed at fostering a sense of community and accountability among members. Additionally, COMTOA works closely with the State Police Command, encouraging members to report any security concerns to the police and also inform their office.
In another effort to promote responsibility, Okafor reminded members to keep their tricycles clean by having a waste basket on board, preventing litter and promoting environmental sustainability.
These measures demonstrate COMTOA's commitment to the well-being of its members and passengers, and its willingness to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
