Okolotu says by signing this bill, Governor Oborevwori has declared Delta State open for prospective investors to invest in the power sector, which could lead to increased revenue for the state.
"The development of independent power plants in the state is likely to reduce unemployment, as new jobs will be created in the energy sector saying that With more consumers to cater for,the state can expect a significant increase in revenue from the power sector."
