The President General of the Delta Youth Coalition (DYC),Chibuzor Agunwa, has charged youths to be active in politics and governance.
Agunwa, also known as Mr.Dash, gave the charge during the inauguration of executives members of the student youth wing from some of the local governments that were yet to be inaugurated in the DYC student wing.
He said it was youth turn and the right time for them to be represented in governance, ahead of the 2027 general elections,as preparation for the task ahead.
Agunwa noted that it was their right to screen any candidate that are are supporting, so that if they are good candidate,they can give maximum support as DYC.
He advised the youths to go to their various local governments and converse on the right for the youths to come out and cast their votes during the election.
On her part, the Ward 5 DYC Women Leader,Comrade,Happy Okolo advised them to be active in every political activities in thier various Local Government Areas.
She also enjoined them to ensure that they have their voter’s card as it was their weapon and also identify with their Local Government Council Chairmen and wards.
