Approval Of Flyover At Uromi Junction, Agbor::Again,I have Been Vindicated--Uzum

Eugene Azuka Uzum has commended Delta State Government for the approval to construct a flyover at the popular Uromi Junction in Agbor, saying the decision aligns with his earlier call to revamp the worsening situation of the road at the junction.
Uzum, a lawyer and policy analyst, stated this while reacting to the approval to construct two major flyovers at Otowodo Junction in Ughelli North Local Government Area and Uromi Junction, Agbor, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State by the state government.
Uzum said that when he condemned the continued neglect of the deplorable road at the Uromi Junction axis in Agbor and called for the intervention of the state government, many criticized him, thinking he was attacking the state government.
Uzum maintained that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was not aversed to constructive criticism, adding that the governor had so far aligned with him twice on critical issues in the state.
He said one of such issues was his call to curb age falsification in the state civil service and its adverse effects in the service, adding that the governor had swung into action almost immediately by putting necessary machinery on motion that had winnowed off civil servants culpable of falsifying their ages in the service.
While thanking the governor for being responsive to genuine calls for good governance, Uzum who is also a youth advocate implored the state government to increase the tempo of youth empowerment and job creation in the state, adding that he would continue to harp on it, considering the positive impacts it would bring to bear on the economy of the state.
Recall that a few days ago, while condemning the unwholesome disinformation by those he termed mischief makers and blackmailers in Ika Federal Constituency in the state, following the unverifiable report that members of the Delta Unity Group (DUG) had concluded plans to dump the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, Uzum, also a member of DUG, stressed that "not only had Ika Nation benefited from the inspiring need for good governance as espoused by the DUG, but that it had started showing some positive results of accountability and responsiveness in the governance of the state."
