The Director General of the Delta State Transport Management Agency,DESTMA, Honourable Benjamin Essien Okiemute says the Agency will partner with any organization whose mandate is geared towards making the roads clear and passable in accordance with Governor Oborievwori more agenda.
Honourable Okiemute disclosed this in his office in Asaba while speaking with Journalists .
He stated that his first assignment as a Director General of DESTMA, since office was to ensure discipline among the officers.
According to Honourable Okiemute DETSMA,had achieved much within a short while under his watch.
The Director General stated that all the officers in DESTMA have been trained on the ethics of professionalism and intelligence gathering during the performance of their duties and the manners to deal with civil populace, particularly drivers and motorcycle riders across the State.
Honourable Okiemute also stated that a mobile court has been established by authorities of DESTMA,to try offenders who fix carieer on top of their keke,as well as those who put robber at the back of their motorcycle.
Honourable Benjamin Okiemute, therefore,he adviced all drivers and motorcyclists in Delta State to exercise maturity and caution in daily duties in order to allow peace to reign in State in line with Oborievwori's more agenda.
