Asiuwhu Pays Glowing Tribute to Late Evang. Rosemary Sylvester Oromoni
The Chairman of the Delta State Taskforce on Environment, Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Evangelist Mrs. Rosemary Sylvester Oromoni, wife of the Executive Chairman of Warri South-West describing her as “a devoted Christian and a woman whose life left an extraordinary impact on humanity.”
Speaking during the final funeral service today Saturday 09/08/25 held at Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Chief Asiuwhu lauded the late evangelist’s immense contributions to society, noting that she was resourceful, philanthropic, and wholly committed to the service of God and mankind.
The solemn occasion drew the crème de la crème of society including top government functionaries, traditional rulers, political leaders, business magnates, academics, and other distinguished personalities from across the state and beyond all united in paying their last respects to a woman whose legacies continue to speak volumes.
In his condolence message to the bereaved husband, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, Executive Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, and his predecessor in office, Chief Asiuwhu described the loss as “irreplaceable and deeply devastating,” noting that no words could truly capture the depth of the grief.
> “In truth, we cannot find the right words to mourn with you. This is heart-rending,” he said. “But I urge you, my friend, to take solace in the knowledge that your beloved wife has gone to rest with her Creator and has left indelible footprints in the sands of time.”
Praying for divine comfort for the Oromoni family, the church, and the entire Delta State, Chief Asiuwhu expressed hope that the family would find strength to carry on her remarkable legacies.
