The newly appointed State Taskforce Chairman on Environment,Chief Godspower Asiuwhu has resumed work with a call on Deltans to key into the spirit of cleanliness
The Chairman who was received by the staff and management of the State Taskforce on Environment led by the Director of Administration, Mrs.Nkechi Amaraegbu said the objectives of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of MORE agenda must be promoted.
Chief. Asiuwhu said he would work with all Agencies on environmental matters to ensure that Delta is kept clean.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment,stressing that he would work hard to ensure that the people comply with the environmental laws.
The state Taskforce Chairman who was a Commissioner for Environment in the state, said with his experience, he would educated the people on the environmental best practices.
Chief. Asiuwhu called on residents to always obey the environmental laws as it would go along way to better their lives.
Welcoming the state Chairman Taskforce on Environment, Chief Godspower Asiuwhu to the office of the State Taskforce, the Director of Administration, Mrs.Nkechi Amaraegbu, expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment, stressing that Chief .Asiuwhu as an experienced environmentalist would go along way to improve the services of the Taskforce.
She pledged the support of the staff to the chairman, adding that they are ready to work with him to improve the environmental protection.
Mrs. Amaraegbu stated that the majority problems of the Agency was lack of staff adding that there was need for permanent staff to man the activities of the Taskforce for effective service delivery.
