Facing Reality: Ibori Should Have Known That No Empire Lasts Forever* :

In the realm of politics, power is transient, and empires rise and fall with the tides of time. James Onanefe Ibori, the former Governor of Delta State, once held sway over the state, with senior politicians at the time refraining from vilifying him. However, as history has shown, even the mightiest rulers eventually face the consequences of their actions.
It is time for Ibori to heed the lessons of history and accept that his time in the spotlight has passed. Instead of clinging to past glories and attempting to influence current affairs, he should gracefully step aside and allow new leaders to emerge.
One such leader is Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, who has been diligently working to advance the interests of Delta State. Ibori should recognize Oborevwori's efforts and refrain from interfering in his work. By doing so, he can demonstrate his commitment to the peace and prosperity of Delta State.
Let us not forget Ibori's past transgressions, including his last plots to plunder the state's resources for personal gain. This he conjectured when he worked round corners in attempting to implant his long-term cohort, Chief David Edevwie. With his frantic efforts as evidenced in the build-up to the last general elections and how divine intervention saved Delta's treasury from his grasp. It is time for Ibori to show humility and respect the will of the people.
Deltans have long memories, and they have not forgotten the dark chapters of Ibori's tenure. Instead of seeking to reclaim his former glory, he should focus on atoning for his past mistakes and contributing positively to society.
In conclusion, James Onanefe Ibori should recognize that no empire lasts forever. It is time for him to face his new reality, respect the current leadership of Delta State, and work towards a brighter future for all.
