Oborevwori Appoints Ochor Ochor as Chairman of Delta State Tourism Board
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has appointed Rt Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor as the new Chairman of the state’s Tourism Board, ushering in a fresh phase for the development and promotion of the state’s tourism sector. Ochor, a well-known political figure with an extensive leadership background, is expected to leverage his expertise to showcase Delta State’s vast cultural heritage, natural beauty, and untapped tourism potential.
In a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, the Governor expressed confidence that Ochor’s appointment would invigorate efforts to position Delta State as a premier tourism destination in Nigeria and beyond. Ochor, with his proven leadership capabilities, is tasked with driving initiatives aimed at boosting the state’s economy through sustainable tourism practices.
