DESOPADEC COMMISSIONER, SUNNY OFE,CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI OF DELTA STATE AS HE WINS THISDAY/ARISE MEDIA GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR 2024 AWARD
The Commissioner Representing the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Sunny Ofe, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State for winning the ThisDay Newspaper and Arise Television “Governor of The Year, 2024 award” held in Lagos,27th January 2025.
Speaking with journalists in Warri, Ofe said that the emergence of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was not a mistake but a reality.
Ofe enumerated infrastructural development across the three senatorial districts, including roads, the Warri-Efrune flyover that is ongoing and the human capital developments.
He commended the Governor on the security architecture of the state, especially the newly set up Operation Delta Sweep with which he equipped with over 25 Hilux patrol vehicles made up of the police, army and the civil defense corps.
The Commissioner called on the good people of Delta State irrespective of their political affiliation to keep supporting the Governor saying that this will
spur him to do more for Deltans as he had promised in his MORE Agenda program.
